April Fools' Forecast
— part of the Dragon Fewmets series —
In the spirit of April Fools’ Day, we tip our hats (and maybe a goat or two) to the medieval Feast of Fools, when rules were flipped, mock kings were crowned, and chaos got an official invitation. So if things feel delightfully upside down today, you’re in excellent historical company—long live the Lord of Misrule! 🎭

Origins of the Horn Dance
The Abbots Bromley Horn Dance is an ancient English folk tradition from Staffordshire involving ten performers, six of whom carry ancient reindeer antlers, who move in serpentine patterns. While the original ritual occurs annually in September, the Christmas Revels has adapted it into a haunting Winter Solstice performance featuring darkened stages, a hypnotic tune, and a focus on ritual magic.
